Setup

Open Allo app

Launch Allo on mobile or desktop

Go to Integrations

Navigate to Settings > Integrations

Find Apollo

Locate Apollo in the integrations list and tap Connect

Authenticate

Tap Connect to Apollo and follow the authorization prompts to grant Allo access to your Apollo account

Select data to sync

Choose which data types to sync: contacts, calls, companies, deals

Confirm connection

Return to Allo and wait for the “Connected” confirmation

Troubleshooting

Common causes:
  • Apollo authorization denied
  • Insufficient Apollo permissions
  • Network timeout during connection
Solutions:
  • Make sure you authorized Allo in Apollo
  • Verify you have admin access to your Apollo account
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting
Check these items:
  • Integration shows as “Connected” in Allo Settings
  • Contact exists in Apollo with a matching phone number or email
  • Internet connection is stable during calls
Solution: If issues persist, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
Wait for initial sync:
The first sync can take a few minutes for large contact databases.
Verify connection:
Check that the integration shows as “Connected” in Allo Settings.
Phone number required:
Contacts must have a phone number to appear in Allo.
Matching logic:
Allo matches by phone number and email. Duplicates can appear if these don’t match exactly across systems.
Solution: Ensure phone numbers and emails are formatted consistently in both Allo and Apollo.
Check:
  • SMS sync is enabled in your integration settings
  • Voicemail transcription is active in Allo
  • The contact exists in Apollo
Solution: Disconnect and reconnect the integration to reset sync settings.
To reconnect the integration:
  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Apollo
  2. Tap Disconnect
  3. Follow the connection steps again

Manage your integration

Disconnect Apollo

To disconnect the integration:
  1. Open Allo app
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Select Apollo
  4. Tap Disconnect
Disconnecting stops all sync between Allo and Apollo. Existing data in Apollo remains unchanged.
