The Allo eSIM is available in France only, on French Allo numbers. It’s in its launch phase: prices may change.

What the eSIM does

With the eSIM, your Allo number is installed in your phone like a second SIM. Calls to that line reach your phone over the mobile network, like a regular call, instead of over the internet.

Calls that hold up

No more choppy calls when the Wi-Fi drops or 4G is weak

Your phone's own dialer

Answer your business line next to your personal line, no app to open

Texts on the business line

SMS arrive on your phone like any other text

Recorded and summarized in Allo

Your eSIM calls are recorded and summarized by AI, in your Allo workspace with your team

Before you start

  • A phone that supports eSIM (most recent iPhones and Android phones). To check, look in your phone’s settings for an option to add an eSIM or a cellular plan.
  • A French Allo number with the eSIM option turned on. During the launch, ask our team to turn it on for your number.
  • The Allo desktop app: the QR code is shown on your computer and scanned with the phone that will receive the line.
  • Be in France when you activate the eSIM.

Install the eSIM

1

Open the eSIM section of your number

Go to Settings > Numbers, open your number’s settings, then go to the eSIM section. The Your eSIM line shows where your eSIM stands:
2

Show the QR code

When the status says Ready to install, click Show QR code. The Install your eSIM window opens with the QR code.
Anyone who uses this code takes over the line. Don’t share it, and don’t send it by email. The code is only shown in the app, when you ask for it.
3

Scan it with your phone

Scan the QR code with the phone that will receive the line:
  • iPhone: go to Settings > Mobile Service (or Cellular) > Add eSIM > Use QR Code.
  • Android: go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs, add an eSIM, then scan the code.
Your phone installs the eSIM by itself. You can name the line (for example “Work”) so you recognise it in your dialer.
Can’t scan? The same window shows the SM-DP+ address and the activation code. Enter them by hand in your phone’s eSIM settings.
4

Take your calls

Once the status says Installed, your business line rings straight in your phone’s dialer, over the mobile network.

Good to know

No. An eSIM installs on one phone only. A phone can hold several eSIMs, though, next to your personal line.
You need a new eSIM for the new phone, with a new activation fee. Your number stays the same. Contact our team to get it.
The Allo eSIM is made for France: it’s activated in France and runs on French mobile networks. If you often work abroad, talk to our team before turning it on.
