What this integration does

The Allo-QuickBooks integration surfaces your customers’ financial data during calls — no switching tabs, no manual lookup. When a QuickBooks customer calls, you instantly see their name, outstanding invoices, total invoices, and lifetime revenue. AI call summaries are also enriched with this financial context automatically. Key benefits:

Setup

Open Allo app

Launch Allo on mobile or desktop

Go to Integrations

Navigate to Settings > Integrations

Find QuickBooks

Locate QuickBooks in the integrations list and tap Connect

Authorize access

Follow the prompts to authorize Allo’s access to your QuickBooks account

Confirm connection

Return to Allo and wait for the “Connected” confirmation. Customer data begins syncing immediately.

QuickBooks to Allo

Customer financial data syncs into Allo in real time — names, invoices, and revenue displayed during calls.

Enriched AI summaries

After each call, AI summaries automatically include relevant financial context from QuickBooks.

Caller recognition

When a QuickBooks customer calls, Allo matches their phone number and displays their financial profile before you answer:
  • Customer name
  • Outstanding invoices
  • Total invoices
  • Lifetime revenue

After each call, Allo’s AI summary combines what was discussed with the customer’s financial data from QuickBooks — giving you a complete picture of the interaction without any manual work.

Troubleshooting

Common causes:
  • QuickBooks authorization denied
  • Insufficient QuickBooks account permissions
  • Network timeout during connection
Solutions:
  • Make sure you completed authorization in QuickBooks
  • Verify you have admin access to your QuickBooks account
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting
Check these items:
  • Integration shows as “Connected” in Allo Settings
  • Customer exists in QuickBooks with a matching phone number
  • Internet connection is stable
Solution: If data is still missing, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
The integration syncs in real time. If data looks stale:
  • Check your internet connection
  • Disconnect and reconnect the integration to force a refresh
Check:
  • The caller was matched to a QuickBooks customer
  • The integration is showing as “Connected”
Note: Financial enrichment only applies to calls from recognized QuickBooks customers.
To reconnect the integration:
  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > QuickBooks
  2. Tap Disconnect
  3. Follow the connection steps again

Manage your integration

Disconnect QuickBooks

To disconnect the integration:
  1. Open Allo app
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Select QuickBooks
  4. Tap Disconnect
Disconnecting stops all sync between Allo and QuickBooks. No data is deleted from either platform.
