# Buy additional numbers

> Add more phone numbers to your Allo account

## Why add more numbers

Additional numbers help you organize your business:

* Separate lines for sales, support, and billing
* Local numbers for different cities
* Dedicated numbers for marketing campaigns

## How to buy

    Tap **Buy Number**

  <Step title="Choose your number">
    Select country, region, and number type. Pick from available numbers.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm purchase">
    Review pricing and confirm. Your number activates immediately.
  </Step>

## After purchase

Once you buy a number, you can:

* Give it a custom name for easy identification
* Set up call routing (IVR, team members, voicemail, AI Receptionist)
* Configure separate business hours
* Customize voicemail messages

## Common questions

  <Accordion title="Can I get a toll-free number? Can I add it later?">
    Yes. Toll-free numbers (833, 844, 855, 866, 877, 888) are available on Business plans. You can add a toll-free number at signup or any time later, alongside your local lines, from Settings > Numbers. Contact support to request one.

    <Note>
      True 1-800 numbers are very limited and significantly more expensive. The other toll-free prefixes are widely available and work the same way for callers.

  <Accordion title="Can I cancel an additional number?">
    Yes. Go to Settings, select the number, and choose "Cancel number." You'll be billed for the current month only.

  <Accordion title="Do additional numbers include SMS?">
    **Starter plan:** Receive SMS only\
    **Business plan:** Send and receive SMS
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can team members have their own numbers?">
    Yes. Each team member can have a dedicated number, or multiple members can share numbers.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there a limit to how many numbers I can buy?">
    No limit. Add as many numbers as your business needs.

  <Accordion title="Can I get a number in a country not listed?">
    Contact support to discuss international number availability and pricing.
