# Conference Calls

> Add a teammate or an outside phone number to a live call, so three or more people talk on the same call

## How to add someone to a call

Select **Invite to the call** (the **+** button) during a live call, then pick a person or type a number. Allo calls that person, and they join the call when they answer. Nobody has to hang up.

Conference calls work in the Allo web, desktop and mobile apps.

Use this to bring a colleague into a sales call, loop in a technician during a service call, or add an interpreter.

## How to invite someone to the call

    During an active call, select the **+** button in the call controls.

  <Step title="Pick who to invite">
    Choose from:

    * **Recent**: people and numbers you called recently
    * **Teammates**: everyone on your Allo team
    * **Search people or numbers**: search by name, or type a phone number
    * **Keypad**: select the keypad icon to dial a number
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for them to answer">
    Allo calls the person. When they answer, they join the call and everyone hears each other.
